    2023-2024 Pin Design Contest

    The contest will be open for submissions from now until October 30th, 2023. To participate, create your design on paper or digitally and upload your unique pin design and enter the competition. The only two requirements for your design are that it must represent our great state and prominently feature the text "WV FBLA."

    We cannot wait to see the diverse and innovative designs that will emerge from this contest, and we hope that our winning pin design will make a impact at the upcoming National Leadership Conference. You have complete creative freedom to craft an unforgettable pin.

    But wait, there's more! The stakes are high, as the lucky winner of this contest will be rewarded with free registration to the State Leadership Conference (SLC). It's an incredible opportunity to showcase your talent and represent West Virginia FBLA on a grand stage.

  • Dressed to Impress Scholarship

    FBLA is excited to announce the opening of the 2022 FBLA Dressed to Impress Applications! FBLA aims to provide business attire for up to three members in each state, one from each of the three student divisions: FBLA Middle School, FBLA High School, and FBLA Collegiate.

    Application Deadline - October 15, 2022

    Eligibility:
    Open to all FBLA members in good standing.
    Must be dues-paid members by the application deadline.
    Applications must be submitted by October 15, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

    Criteria & Application Information:

    In order to complete the application in its entirety, FBLA Middle School and FBLA High School students must complete the application with an adviser. FBLA Collegiate students can choose to complete their application on their own or with the help of an adviser. All students must be in good membership standing.

    Learn everything you need to succeed as a local chapter officer in only one hour from FBLA's national officer team!   • FBLA Guide to Internships

    Internships are an invaluable experience, filled with opportunities to create lifelong memories, gain interdisciplinary skills, and find your niche in the professional world. FBLA member are able to use professional lessons and skills learned through the organization and classroom to find and succeed in internships. This resource was created to guide students through the process.

  • FBLA National Councils

    The National Officer Team is supported through student leadership of National Councils. Each officer has a National Council focused on supporting their role within FBLA-PBL. In addition, a group of Social Media Ambassadors help maintain the social media accounts of the National Center and regions. As a National Council member, students have the opportunity to serve members throughout the entire organization and make an impact on their membership experience.

  • Who's Who in WV FBLA

    This award honors exemplary FBLA members who have made outstanding contributions to the association at the local, state, and national levels. Each state may enter one participant who is a member of an active local chapter and on record as of paying dues by March 1 of the current school year for recognition at the National Leadership Conference.

  • Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit

    HOLLIS AND KITTY GUY AWARD

    The Hollis and Kitty Guy Award recognize outstanding local chapters that have actively participated in projects and programs identified with the goals of FBLA-PBL. Active local chapters must be nominated by the state chair and be on record in the national center as having paid dues by March 1 of the current school year.

  • National Leadership Conference Scholarship

    This scholarship is designed to award FBLA and FBLA-Middle Level members with funding that will serve as a leadership investment to assist members in attending NLC. The scholarship is to be used for conference and travel-related expenses. Up to 50 scholarships will be awarded.
    Application Deadline April 15 @5pm

  • FBLA Distinguished Business Leader Scholarship

    This scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding FBLA members for their activity and involvement in the association. The number of scholarships given depends on yearly contributions to the FBLA Distinguished Business Leader Scholarship fund.

    Amount: $500

    Applications Deadline: April 15, 2022

  • Johnson & Wales University Scholarship

    FBLA members are eligible for JWU scholarships up to full tuition. Complete an application to JWU and indicate FBLA membership to be automatically considered for our National Student Organizations scholarship program.

  • National Technical Honor Society

    The National Technical Honor Society is pleased to continue our partnership with FBLA-PBL by helping to promote their mission, providing two scholarships to active FBLA-PBL members who are also current NTHS members in good standing, and providing funding for two FBLA-PBL National Conference events each year. NTHS awards over a quarter of a million dollars in scholarships to its members annually and has been the acknowledged leader in recognizing outstanding student achievement in CTE programs across the country for over 30 years. NTHS/FBLA-PBL members are also eligible to apply for the Jon H. Poteat Scholarship at www.nths.org.

    Criteria:

    Applicants must be in 10thgrade or higher.

    Applicant must be current NTHS member for eligibility

    A fully completed application must be submitted by the deadline date or forfeit eligibility.

    Scholarship monies are held up to three (3) years to be used for post-secondary education.

  • Merit Award Program - Middle School

    The Merit Award is a membership engagement-focused challenge that chapters may complete for national recognition. By completing activities, chapters work toward filling out a “BINGO” card. In addition, Middle-Level chapter advisers may explore a monthly choice board (found in the Leadership Community) created to offer additional activities. Additional incentives such as ribbons at conferences, national recognition in publications, and plaques are available.

    Merit Award is open to all active chapters.
