·     The State Leadership Conference set-up will follow a similar set-up as the National Leadership Conference. The event will be set up as it is outlined in the National Guidelines. Presentation equipment will not be provided unless otherwise noted in the Guidelines. Please ensure that you are preparing students to utilize their devices, practice presentation/event timing, and practice in a loud and visually distracting area – as this will better prepare them for SLC and NLC competition environments. Competitors are encouraged to practice in front of the mirror, with friends, family, and industry members.

·     Workshops, Community Service activities, Expo Hall, and Study Areas, will be set up for students to participate and network.

Important Dates:

January 26: SLC Registration Opens in Blue Panda

February 23: SLC Regustration Closes in Blue Panda 5pm

March 1: All students must be nationally registered.

March 2: All Prejudged Resources Due in Blue Panda

March 2-13: Objective Test Window·at School Sites

March 23-24: SLC
